IDENT 110 CONVERTING PRESS
Summary
Over the years, the Ident 110 Rotary Converting Press has proven to be a popular choice among our customers for the applications where technical rotary converting operations on narrow webs (up to 110 mm) are required.
Modular design of the 110 machine allows interchangeability of its units with any other Ident manufactured units of the same web width.
Key benefits of this machine are:
- cheaper tooling - due to reduced size, the tools can often be more cost-effective;
- quick setups and changeovers (due to user-friendly interface of the controls);
- easy manageability (mostly no lifting equipment is required, as all the units with very few exceptions are below 10kg in weight).
General Specification
- Maximum web width: 110 mm.
- Maximum operating speed: 48 m/min.
- Bed lengths: 4 ft (1.22 m), 6 ft (1.83 m), 8 ft (2.44 m), 10 ft (3.05 m).
- Underbed unwinds & rewinds: typically up to 4 depending on the bed length.
- Maximum roll diameter on base unwinds and rewinds: 450 mm.
- Standard mandrel supplied: 76 mm (3'').
Options & Features
- Gearboxes can be fitted on any of the base rewinds to allow for reverse winding. All mandrels can be either standard spring locking or switched air core.
- Clutching types available are: mechanical friction type, where little control of the web is required; electronic clutch with either follower arm or ultrasonic feedback control, where a reasonably high level of web tension control is required; electronic clutch or servo motor with high precision transducer control, for use where a very high level of web tension control over the web is required.
- A double rewind arm or cabinet can be fitted to give 2 additional rewinds at the outfeed end of the machine.
- Unwind units are available for this size machines incorporating web guiders, splicing tables and digital tension control.
