The Ident 350 Converting Press is the mid-range machine for larger web formats.
These machines are built robustly to exacting standards, are easy-operable and versatile.

Modular design of the 350 machine allows interchangeability of its units with any other Ident manufactured units of the same web width.

General Specification

  • Maximum roll diameter on the main unwind unit: 600 mm.
  • Maximum web width: 350 mm.
  • Maximum operating speed: 100 m/min.
  • Bed lengths: 4 ft (1.22 m), 6 ft (1.83 m), 8 ft (2.44 m), 9 ft (?? m), 10 ft (3.05 m).
  • Underbed unwinds and rewinds: typically up to 5 depending on the bed length.
  • Maximum roll diameter on base unwinds and rewinds: 600 mm.
  • Standard mandrel supplied: 76 mm (3'').

Options & Features

  • Gearboxes can be fitted on any of the base rewinds to allow for reverse winding. All mandrels can be either standard spring locking or switched air core.
  • Clutching types available are: mechanical friction type, where little control of the web is required; electronic clutch with either follower arm or ultrasonic feedback control, where a reasonably high level of web tension control is required; electronic clutch or servo motor with high precision transducer control and/or calculated diameter feedback, for use where a very high level of web tension control over the web is required.
  • A double rewind arm or cabinet can be fitted to give 2 additional rewinds at the outfeed end of the machine.
  • Unwind units are available for this size machines incorporating web guiders, splicing tables and digital transducer tension control.
